Why is shipping so expensive?
Being that I live in Australia, as you may not know we use Kangaroos as our primary shipping provider, unfortunately their pouches don’t hold a lot, and also, since they unionised along with the carrier Koalas, things have just gotten expensive. Seriously though, I live in Melbourne which is just about as far away from the rest of the world as you can get, its closer to Antarctica than it is Europe or America. I do try to keep the costs as low as possible, in fact for several countries I actually lose money. But trust me, it is not something I make a profit on.
What 3D Printer do you recomend?
We live in a time where we are spoilt for choice when it comes to 3D printers, realistically, as long as your printer has a bed size of at least 256 x 256, you will be able to print this camera. I personally use the Bambu A1 and their filament and have had nothing but steller results using their default presets for the most part.
How long does it take to ship once I have ordered?
I do try to keep enough stock in house for the hardware orders to ship them out ASAP, but depending on the numbers of orders I receieve it may take betweej 4 to 6 weeks to ship.
With fully bit cameras, as they are built to order, usually the turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks.
